Prof.(Dr.) S. Shantha kumar invited to participate in the three-day roundtable organized by Asian Development Bank
Prof.(Dr.) S. Shantha kumar, Dean , School of Law, G D Goenka University was invited to participate in the three-day roundtable organized by Asian Development Bank at its headquarters in Manila, Philippines on 24-26 January, 2018. This roundtable had been organized to strengthen the network of environmental law practitioners and professors across the Asian region. Prof.(Dr.) S. Shantha kumar attended the roundtable as the country’s focal person and lead environmental law champion. He has been a part of the network of Environmental Law Champions supported under ADB’s regional capacity development technical assistance project entitled Strengthening Capacity for Environmental law in the Asia-Pacific: Developing Environmental law Champions. The aim of the technical assistance is to enhance the capacity of law professors and university lecturers in ADB’s developing member countries.
