World Physiotherapy day
“Contribution towards Societal Welfare”
School of Medical and Allied Science celebrated “World Physiotherapy Day-2018” with an aim to raise awareness about the crucial contribution the profession makes to keep people well, mobile and independent. A healthcare camp was organized at Village Sehjavas, Gurugram in association with ARTEMIS Hospital and Society of Indian Physiotherapists. Medical Professionals from ARTEMIS and Physiotherapists from GD Goenka University jointly assessed, examined, demonstrated exercises to 159 patients. Various investigational measures like ECG , RBS, BMI, BMD etc. were recorded during the camp. Students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy raised awareness about \"Role of physiotherapist for healthcare\" through a short play. Mr. Satbir Singh Khatana ji (Social Worker) and Mr. Manoj Khatana (Sarpanch) presented vote of thanks for organizing such useful camp at village level.
