Short Film Festival competition
A Short Film Festival competition on 15 September 2023 provided an opportunity for the incoming students to showcase their creativity and storytelling skills. Short films of one minute duration each were developed based on the students’ experiences in the first two weeks at the University.
A distinguished panel of judges Dr. Kuldeep Siwach from School of Media and Entertainment and Dr.Supdita Mishra from School of Engineering and Sciences with expertise in filmmaking and storytelling evaluated the short films.
The judges considered various aspects, including creativity, storytelling, cinematography, editing, and overall impact, to determine the winners. The top three films received prizes, and certificates of participation were given to all participants. Kiran Chauhan bagged the first prize, Vipus Chopra and Rudra Pandey stood second and third respectively.
