Session on Celebration of Iconic Cultural Figures- Kabir Das and Mira Bai organized at School of Education
For prospective teachers it is extremely important to know the cultural diversity of their nation. This would enable them to become agents of preservation and transmission of India’s diverse cultural heritage to the future generations.
School of Education, G D Goenka University organized a activity session on \"Celebration of an Iconic Cultural Figure” on February 26, 2018. The prime objective of the event was to inculcate among the student-teachers an appreciative attitude and pride towards the cultural diversity of India.
Student-teachers presented their views on the contribution of Kabir Das & Mira Bai , the great iconic figures in the cultural development of a nation. They presented poems, KabirkeDohe, Mira ke Pad, speeches, dance, songs and presentations during the programme.
