Report on Green Supply Chain session
GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN SESSION
School of Management, GD Goenka University conducted the session on Green and Sustainable Supply Chain Management for the batch of MBA 2023-25 on 7 th Aug2023. The session was taken by Dr.Mohd Azmi Khan and focused on the growing importance of sustainability in various activities of supply chain management and how organizations can adopt green practices at the fullest in their operations.
Students also learned how organizations can build sustainable supply chains for a dynamic world and become resilient to cope with uncertainties. As a part of the session, a simulation activity was carried out on the bullwhip effect in a supply chain to understand the role of information flow in a chain.
