Invited Talk on: 'Challenges and Opportunities in managing big Infrastructure projects
Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering & Sciences (SoES) at GD Goenka University organized an invited talk on 'Challenges and Opportunities in managing big Infrastructure projects' on 28th September 2021.
Mr. Arvind Kumar Mishra was the resource person for the talk. Mr. Mishra is currently acting as a Managing Director in Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project Authority in Bhutan (MHPA). He served NHPC for over 31 years in various capacities and made immense contributions in various fields including Design & Engineering, investigation, and construction of large hydropower projects.
The webinaraimed to provide a public forum for the participants to upgrade their knowledge on a big Infrastructure project commissioned recently in Bhutan namely Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project. Challenges and opportunities in the hydropower sector and upcoming career options for civil engineering graduates were also discussed in effective ways during the talk.
