School of Education commences Community Service Programme at SUDHA Society
Society for Upliftment & Development of Human Being by Action (SUDHA) has been created for public, educational, medical, relief, health, training, sustainable development by vocational training of needy community, basic research and for charitable purposes. It aims in fostering change in the society through pro-active community participation and works on the motto ‘SUDHA se Sudhar’.
As a part of the practical course on working with the society, some of the B.Ed. student-teachers of School of Education, G D Goenka University commenced teaching the underprivileged children at SUDHA Society, Sector 56, Gurgaon on March 17, 2018. In the forthcoming visits, the student-teachers shall be organizing numerous activities such as story-telling, awareness camps and workshop on art and craft.
