Guest Lecture on Role of NGOs in Indian Society
School of Architecture and Planning organized a guest lecture for 3rd year B.Arch students on 11th April 2017 on \"Role of NGOs in Indian Society\" by Ms. Anupama Datta, Director, Help Age India. She delivered a talk on the need and evolution of NGOs and the various issues faced by them in improving the vulnerability of the Indian Society. The lecture was well attended by all the students of 3rd Year. The lecture was followed by an interactive session with students wherein they asked several questions relating to the rights of these groups along with acts and policies for them. They were greatly benefited from the lecture as it helped them in sensitising and understanding the grass-root issues faced by various vulnerable groups .
