Guest lecture on Neuroanatomy

A SESSION OF KNOWLEDGE FOR THE YOUNG HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS”
School of Medical and Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University organized a guest lecture on ‘Neuroanatomy: The Need of the Hour’ on 22nd April, 2019 by Dr. Rohini Pandey, Faculty, Department of Anatomy, Sharda University, Greater Noida. She elaborated the broad domain of Neuroanatomy, which is regarded as the study of nervous system structures and how they relate to functions of neural structures. Dr. Rohini Pandey enumerated the mechanism and fundamental knowledge of Spinal Cord, Spinal Tracts (including Ascending and Descending tracts) along with its clinical anatomy. She also discussed and shared her profuse wisdom on the highly relevant topic of Brainstem consisting of Midbrain, Pons and Medulla, and its applied anatomy was also communicated to the students. The session culminated with the clarification of students’ doubts and uncertainties pertaining to this field of Human Anatomy.
