Guest Lecture By Prof Atul Mishra From Plymouth School Of Business, Plymouth University, Uk On Globalisation
Continuing with the series of Guest Lectures from eminent corporates and academics the School of Management (SoM) hosted Prof Atul Mishra from Plymouth School of Business, Plymouth University, UK on March 14. Dr Mishra\'s area of expertise is Corporate Strategy with a background in Economics and a PhD from University of Reading, UK. His address was to an audience of BBA, BCom and MBA students and members of the faculty. The topic of his lecture was Globalization. He explained the reasons behind the rise of globalization and how it resulted in creation of global markets as well as globalized production. He showed the results of increasing amounts of world trade on the leading economies and shared a vision of the world as a global village.
