Visit for Social Awareness to Ghamroj Village
The School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), G.D. Goenka University organized a visit for psychology and education students for social awareness among the villagers of Ghamroj village. The visit focused on bullying, mental health, parental influence, inclusive education, and disability rights. Villagers actively participated, increasing awareness and encouraging youth towards self-reliance. Participants highlighted the need for implementing the PwD Act (2016) and shared personal experiences to foster community engagement. The visit successfully bridged urban education with rural challenges, promoting positive social change.
