On 27 September 2024, a visit to the Centre Research Facility (CRF), IIT Delhi was organized for students from the departments of Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Physics. Accompanied by Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Dean, and Dr. Soumita Talukdar, Assistant Professor, the students gained hands-on experience with advanced instruments such as the glove box, FTIR analysis, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and UV-Vis Spectrofluorometer. They also observed demonstrations of the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) laboratory. The session, which included sample handling, sampling, and NMR data collection, proved highly beneficial for the students, enhancing their understanding of advanced analytical techniques.
