AVISHKAR Centre of Innovation and Incubation at GD Goenka University successfully hosted ASIC 2025

The AVISHKAR Centre of Innovation and Incubation at GD Goenka University successfully hosted ASIC 2025 – the flagship event of AVISHKAR on 24th March 2025. The event was graced by Chief guest Ms. Payal Koul Mirakhur (Co-Founder & CBO, uExcelerate, Ex-VP IBM, Ex-VP Invest India, Chief Strategy Officer Aricent) and Guest of Honor Prof. Dr Manoj Kumar (Consultant, AVISHKAR| Head, Dept. of IT, GGV, Bilaspur).

The Honourable Vice Chancellor of GD Goenka University, Prof. (Dr.) Kim Menezes, Registrar Prof. Dr. Anuradha R Tiwary and Prof. (Dr.) Thammi Reddy Konala (Chief Innovation Officer, AVISHKAR) also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.

A Podcast on Innovation & Leadership was conducted, featuring an engaging conversation between Ms. Payal Koul Mirakhur and Dr. Prerna Sharma (Associate Director, AVISHKAR), where they shared insights on breaking barriers and fostering leadership in the innovation space. The Keynote Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar (Consultant, AVISHKAR | Head, Dept. of IT, GGV, Bilaspur), emphasizing the importance of research-driven innovation.

Dr. Satya Prakash (Director, AVISHKAR) provided valuable insights into progress made by AVISHKAR and launched the animated Infographics of AVISHKAR. The event concluded with the Investiture Ceremony of the newly appointed Student Innovation Council.
